JOURNAL OF COMMUNITY SERVICES (Abdisci) is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes scientific articles in the field of community service. The articles published in the Abdisci Journal include the results of community service which is multidisciplinary in nature.

JOURNAL COMMUNITY SERVICES (Abdisci) focuses on the field of community service.

Abdisci presented information on community service activities that were carried out in a multidisciplinary manner and had undergone a double-blind peer review with 3 reviewers. Thus, Abdisci ensures that the community service activities reach a global audience consisting of students, scholars, consultants, practitioners, international leaders, and policymakers who recognize the importance of utilizing all the results of thinking and research in higher education to be conveyed to the community and directly applied by the community so that the impact of the existence of higher education has a real impact proven in shaping a healthy and productive society.

Abdisci publishes content in the form of practice-oriented papers, teaching-oriented papers, case studies on current trends in science and technology, society, the latest knowledge, and opinion-based articles and reviews, commentary, and debate. The article is supported by photos of community activities so that they can be better understood and duplicated to be applied in other places so that they are more beneficial to the broader community.

Abdisci publishes community service activities on emerging topics in various disciplines and attracts readers. The editors welcome suggestions for special edition topics. Abdisci's article should show information that is useful to the wider community.

Abdisci has a wide scope with the following scope:

  1. Helping to overcome problems faced by the community by utilizing research results and the expertise of the academic community relevant to the problem.
  2. Utilizing technology that is appropriate to suit the needs of the community as well as in accordance with the problems faced by the community.
  3. Providing learning resources and activities, such as mentoring, skills training, and so on, using science, technology, learning modules, and teaching materials.

This technology and science is introduced through the program and is expected to be relevant and effective. The goal is to:

  1. Improving the standard of living and welfare of the community.
  2. Become a model or tool to solve problems in society.
  3. Recommendations on a policy that the community can use.

The service implementation is educational, objective, accountable, and transparent. The criteria are:

  1. The level of community satisfaction.
  2. Changes in attitudes, knowledge, and skills in the community are in accordance with the program goals.
  3. Science and technology can be sustainably used in society.
  4. The creation of enrichment of learning resources and/or learning, as well as the maturation of the academic community as a result of the development of science and technology.
  5. Solving social problems and also
  6. There are policy recommendations that can be used by stakeholders.
